Sweet Sweet Reminders

I’ve become completely and totally in love with Romans 8. In Romans, Paul is writing to the Romans to tell them whats going on in their lives, and how sometimes they drift. In chapter 8, we see that the Lord is just totally and 100% in love with us. HE loves us unconditionally and without any hinderance of anything. HE must love us alot because He sent His ONE and ONLY son. Like, I can’t even wrap my brain around the fact that His love runs so deep. He sent His SON. His Kid, to DIE. I can’t even imagine what that must have been like. How much Love and sacrifice is needed to fall completely for Sinners. He SENT his son. AAAH. Like, I get it. God def knew what he was doing. His love is SO unconditional, never ending, always constant, and always there. If we have God and God’s unfailing love on our side, WHY do we worry in our lives? Why do we freak out about the little things? I freaked out the other day because I couldn’t find my shoes. Like, I look at that and I think what in the world was I thinking? SHOES. Really though. It’s crazy to think how deep and constant the Love of our father is. I’m in shock and in awe when I sit and think about everything He’s done for me. When we have God on our side, We can’t lose! It just wont happen! In Chapter 8 verse 29-30 it says, “GOD knew what HE was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son.” GOD had a plan, like he knew exactly what was going to happen before it even happened. Which to be completely honest, kind of blows my mind. Like, totally. To live such a human life, and to be so constricted by time, we can’t even fathom what is going through his head. Like, its amazing. We were born on a certain time, we are living a 24 hour day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. We live on a schedule. We thrive on a schedule. Our bodies are used to schedules. That’s our life. The Lord doesn’t have to think about time. And you know what? That’s comforting. That’s amazing. I love that. BY far verses 31-39 are my fav: “So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put EVERYTHING on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would even tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even point a finger? The One who died for us?- who was raised to life for us- is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for US……” God is sticking up for you. He wants to fight for you. THIS IS AMAZING. He wants that for you. It’s CRAZY.
